The following is a work in progress area where ideas may be explored that lead to exhibition, sound, podcast, walking trails, games, activities and such.
Each of the following wooden boards relate one of the nineteen alphabet letters to their relevant tree. Most are for exhibiting alongside other elements, whether in poem or botanical or tree lore form. All are suitable for short display periods outdoors.
These assembled boards of poem extracts use pyrography on wood as well as recycled offcuts and scrap iron, with the common purpose of hinting at the 'imaginative spaces' that happen between word, image and the materials used when juxtaposing them together.
Small, mainly wooden material, that can be hung inside or outside, especially around trees, for variable purpose. Whether for general walkers or to prompt young folk to find further links to outdoor activities, parts can be used in different ways according to a given need.
